Increasingly, designers and engineers are finding great value in converting traditional materials previously used in part design and creation are being improved with the advanced composite materials developed at IDI's 3i Technology Center to optimize performance, address the needs of harsh environments, create higher strength, and lower density products.

The 3i Composites Technology Center uses a variety of methods and tools to identify and evaluate the viability of material conversion including:
